We collect the minimum we need
Email address for your account. Payment info handled by Stripe — we never store your card details. That is it.
We do not sell your data
No advertising. No data brokers. No third-party profiling. Your information stays yours.
We only send useful service emails
Account confirmations, password resets, and occasional product updates if you opt in. No newsletters, no spam.
You can delete everything
Email urbabyname@gmail.com and we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

What information do you collect?v
When you create an account: your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). When you make a purchase: payment information processed by Stripe — we never store your full card details. When you browse: we may temporarily log usage data to improve our service.
Do you use advertising or tracking cookies?v
No. We use only essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly without them.
Can children use the service?v
urbabyname does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our service is designed for adults (parents and expecting parents) to search for baby names.
Who can see my saved names and favorites?v
Only you. Your favorites are stored in your private account. Shared finalist boards are only visible to people with the unique link you generate — we do not index them publicly.
How long do you keep my data?v
If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., 'the most searched names this month') may be retained for analytical purposes.
What happens if there is a data breach?v
We will notify affected users by email as soon as possible after discovering a breach. We follow industry-standard security practices and limit access to user data to essential personnel only.
