urbabyname collects minimal information to provide our service. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). If you make a purchase, we collect payment information processed by Stripe — we never store your full card details on our servers.
When you browse or search for names, we may temporarily log usage data to improve our service quality. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain your account, process payments, send you service-related updates (never spam), and improve our name database and features. If you contact us, we use your information to respond to your inquiries.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (such as saved favorites). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly without them.
Data Retention
If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., "the most searched names this month") may be retained for analytical purposes.

Children's Privacy
urbabyname does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our service is designed for adults (parents and expecting parents) to search for baby names.
